Spring in Lake Tahoe

Let me introduce you to what Spring looks like in Tahoe.

Spring doesn't come to Tahoe easily. Winter won't let it. In fact, winter isn't even sure that it wants to be here until Spring tries to invade. You can never be very sure that Spring is actually here until June 15th. And then 6 days later it's summer. That just about sums up Spring in Lake Tahoe.

Introducing Georgia and Georgia

We recently read a book for school, (Journey to America) and we all laughed when we read that the youngest girl named all of her dolls "Susan". Every single one. It reminded us of our Audrey, who upon receiving two adorable stuffed animals from her uncle for Christmas when she was 3 years old, proceeded to name them both "Georgia". She insisted that they were BOTH Georgia.

She was even more thrilled when she heard that there was a song named "Georgia" and wanted to listen to it constantly. She recently found her Georgias in her closet after not seeing them for a while, and was very excited to be able to cuddle and dance with them again. Need you ask which song they danced to?

Phone Calls: Yuck.

I really dislike making phone calls. I don't mind SO much making phone calls if they are to my husband, children, parents or siblings...at least I don't get tingly fingertips from hyperventilating! Phone calls to friends are avoided by texting, emailing and the like. Every once in a while I have to make a business phone call, and I just hate it. Blech.
